The symposium will be a post-conference meeting for ATBC 2012 (www.atbc2012.org) with independent subscription. The Fig Symposium will follow the previous format, with a field excursion to the Atlantic Forest. We will Soon divulge the tentative program and registration fees for the meeting.
Before our fig meeting, we will also run a symposium on Ficus during the ATBC event. As oral presentations in this symposium will be open to the full ATBC audience, I would like to invite you send suggestions of potential interest for the ATBC theme "Ecology, Evolution and Sustainable Use of Tropical Biodiversity". We have space for 12 presentations, so it is a great oportunity to present our research teams to a broader public.
